Frequently asked questions.

  • RockIt Body is a fusion of classical and fitness pilates! We block our classes by muscle group and work the muscles to fatigue.

  • All RockIt classes can be attended by beginners! Most of our new students do fine in the classes however, if you have chronic back pain, painful joints, any medical condition, or have not been physically active in the past, it is recommended to take a RockIt Straps class first or even start with a private class!

  • If it is your first class, please arrive 10-15 minutes before class to allow time to fill out paperwork, get a tour and be introduced to the machine. Otherwise we recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early to allow time to get situated and put in your requests! Glutes anyone?

  • If you are more than 5 minutes late and there is someone waiting for a machine in a full class, your spot will be forfeited and given to the awaiting client. In this instance your spot will be early canceled and you will not be penalized.

In addition, we have a 10-minute grace period. While occasionally circumstances out of our control may leave us running behind schedule, (we are all human), arriving more than 10-minute late is disruptive to the class and distracting to other clients as well as your instructors, and you will be considered a no-show.

  • The workout is designed to work your body to muscle fatigue at which point you need to rest. We recommend three to four times a week to allow your body to properly recover and repair. Listen to your body, it's up to you.

  • 1. Socks with tread are required for all classes. No socks? Don’t worry, we sell really cute ones!

    2. Bring a towel as you will most likely sweat!

    3. Water.

    4. No cellphones during classes.

    5. No strong perfumes or body oils.

  • Yes, we require socks with tread for all class. Trust us, you’ll want them! If you don’t have socks, we have them available for purchase at the front desk.

  • Yes, there is a parking lot at our Manhattan Beach location and plenty of metered and unmetered street parking at our Redondo Beach location.

  • All purchases are final. Classes are non-refundable, and may not be exchanged, or transferred. However, feel free to sign up your friends and family as Guests using your Session Package (not applicable to memberships).

Please make sure that you look over our terms and conditions carefully to fully understand the policies regarding our memberships and class packs.

  • Our schedule is live and available for booking two weeks in advance. We recommend setting your schedule, as our classes can sometimes fill up quickly. If you book a class and your schedule changes, please ensure you cancel out prior to the 8 hour window to avoid late cancel charges.

  • The waitlist is a great way to get into a class that’s fully booked, as clients often cancel due to scheduling conflicts.

  • Once you have added yourself to the waitlist, if a spot opens, you will be auto-added into class. Please check your email and account online to see if you've been added, as you’ll be responsible for managing your waitlist. Once you are added to the class from a waitlist, you are considered confirmed and held to the cancellation policy. After the 8 hour window, the waitlist clears. If you didn't get in from the waitlist at least 8 hours prior to the class, please check the online schedule to see if there are any last minute openings.

If for any reason your plans change, please remember to remove yourself from the waitlist.

  • You must be 16 or older in order to attend group classes. If you are 16-18, we require one private lesson, at which point we will determine if you are ready to join group classes.

  • Pilates is an excellent form of rehab and recovery. However, we do request that you have been cleared by your doctor to begin a regular exercise routine post-injury.

  • First of all, congrats! We love having mamas in our studio. Continuing a healthy workout routine during your pregnancy is a great way to prepare your body for childbirth. If you are pregnant please let your instructor know so they may provide modifications to keep you and your baby safe, happy and healthy.

  • We love your kiddos but ask they stay at home during class. Having a small pair of eyes at either end of the studio becomes distracting for the teacher and other clients. Additionally, music is not always censored.

Although we love your fur babies, we cannot allow pets in the studio due to unknown allergies.
